Ronan McElligott Park

This Westford playground has both a large and smaller play structure with endless nooks to discover, swings, slides, climbing wall, spring riders and some unique features I haven’t seen elsewhere. Designed to be accessible for everyone, there are ramps that make even the large structure easy for little legs to navigate.

At Edwards Beach in Westford, MA

The playground is right next to Edwards Beach so during the season it can be a little busier than other neighborhood playgrounds as people wander between the playground and beach. During the summer season there is a fee for non-residents to access the beach but the playground is always free. A concession stand also opens for the summer.

In the off-season, there is no cost to wander over into the sand and check out Nabnasset Lake.
