Cater Park in Portsmouth, NH is on the smaller size, tucked into a neighborhood near downtown, making it a great destination for toddlers and preschoolers. The main play structure has a ramp entrance on one end near small slides and connects to bigger slides, monkey bars and other fun stuff on the other side.
There is a zipline but contrary to the rest of the park it is quite high. The 5 yr old with the Mommy, UP team couldn’t reach it from the platform and with the assistance of an adult on the ground, it was still a bit uncomfortable of a reach.

A member of the Mommy UP! team naively climbed aboard and was thrown into the wood chips as spectators confused her shrieks of panic with laughing. (Oops) We figured out that if you spin on your tummy you can just put your feet down to stop vs. spinning on your bottom and accelerating until you make a desperate leap for your life.
