Circle of Fun Playground

Auburn’s Circle of Fun playground is in a beautiful spot overlooking Massabesic Lake. The castle is the main attraction here but don’t overlook the rest of the playground. This is a wide open space with lots of room for running around in between activities.

Circle of Fun: classic playground features

Behind the main castle is a smaller toddler-sized castle but I found the main structure to be very toddler friendly. The main entrance is a nice long ramp and what kid can resist a ramp?! The other playground features are a little more old fashioned, its a nice glimpse back to the playgrounds mom and dad grew up with! A tall slide, merry-go-round, dome climber and seesaws around out the offerings. There are plenty of swings as well as a few bucket swings.

Overall, I thought this was a nice introductory-level castle playground. It can be hard with this style structure to keep a visual on your child as there are so many nooks, tunnels and slides to explore. If that makes you nervous, give this one a go and see how it feels! Just to note, there is a fence along the front of the playground blocking off the street and parking lot, but it does not go all the way around. There is a small dirt lot just for Circle of Fun.
